'I can do all this through him who gives me strength.' (Philippians 4:13)When Amanda Pipella was fifty-one she went for a follow-up to a routine mammogram. Her day began in a waiting room full of women. It ended with her alone - the last woman standing. And later the dreaded words: We have found cancer. What follows is a journey through hope and despair, chemotherapy and surgery, the Mornington Peninsula and, finally, Paris. Surrounded by love and yet feeling terribly alone, she must learn why not? as much as why?, what it means to put herself first and what faith looks like in the darkest of nights. Through it, she walks hand in hand with Jesus Christ, the constant song of her heart, who saves her in every way.
